History
From a two-man business to a modern medium-sized company
The history of our family business goes back to 1978. Founded by Robert Maierhöfer as “Robert Maierhöfer Formenbau” as a specialist company for injection molds, the company opened up a new field of activity for itself in 1987 with plastics processing. While the converted barn of the parental property was still the first production site, the reorientation and an increased capacity requirement brought about a move to the newly built company premises at the current location in the same year. Since then, Maierhöfer Spritzgießtechnik has continued to grow through repeated construction measures and the purchase of additional space. Today, as a modern medium-sized company with a workforce of around 60, the company is well equipped for the tasks of the future.
